Overview
Agenda
is the quarterly journal of the
ANU College of Business and Economics at The Australian
National University. Launched in 1994, Agenda provides a forum for
debate on public policy, mainly (but not exclusively) in Australia and New
Zealand. It deals largely with economic issues but gives space to social and
legal policy and also to the moral and philosophical foundations and
implications of policy.
Agenda is written in plain English
and aims to be accessible to specialists and non-specialists alike.
Contributions are welcome from analysts and practitioners in educational
institutions, government and the private sector, as well as private
individuals. Agenda represents a major part of the effort of the ANU’s
Faculty of Economics and Commerce to establish links with the general public
in Australia, New Zealand and beyond.
Agenda is widely read and
subscribed to by policy-makers in both public and private sectors,
journalists, academics, students, and others.
Agenda articles are indexed in
EconLit, the electronic database of the
American Economic Association.
All issues from 1(1) to the latest are now available electronically from
http://epress.anu.edu.au/titles/agenda.html (or use "Electronic Edition" link at left).
From issue 14(3), Agenda has been published by ANU E-Press.
